Getting your salon ready for Easter

Monday means DAY OFF for most of salons. With Easter long weekend approaching fast and being one of the busiest times of the year, make sure you get organised with your salon software.

Let them do the job for you

Did you know that you can link the online booking page directly from your website, Facebook or app? Instead of getting dozens of calls at the salon, let your clients book their appointment from home, the train, while waiting for their coffee, etc. Someone might think that your salon will be too busy over the long weekend (and that might be completely true) and they might not end up calling you based on that thought. But what if they could jump online and have a quick look at available times instead? A suitable time for them might be free and they end up booking. Book it out

Have a look at your Appointment Book at the start of each day from now till Easter and post a quick update on your social media pages announcing the free times still available, for example: “2 appointments still available for Saturday at 10am and 1pm, get in quick! Book online here: (link)”. You can use urgency as your marketing weapon. When clients are urged to get a service before it gets booked out, they are encouraged to take action immediately.

 

Prepare special offers for Easter

A quick pampering package, free product with any colour service or facial treatment… Make it fun! Then send them out using your CRM feature. Prepare a little email blast and SMS communication to go out to all your clients or a specific segment. Save those details

A lot of salons will be booked out during the long weekend, meaning that new clients might arrive to your salon as result of being unable to book with their usual salon. Make sure you take all these new customer’s details with your Client Details app so you can follow up their visit with messages, emails and promotional offers. Remember that turning a casual visit into a regular is what makes your business successful!

 

Have your stock ready
